About

I am an Australian philosopher, living and teaching English in the South of France. I am interested in recent French philosophy under the general theme of “pluralism, individuation, and a world of becoming”. My favorite philosophers are Paul Feyerabend and Gilles Deleuze. My favorite science fiction writers are Octavia Butler, Alastair Reynolds, Neal Stephenson and China Miéville.

  1. Hello there,

My name’s Trevor Jones and recently Punctum Books has published “The Non-Library”, a Laruellean philo-fiction. Would you be interested in reviewing it? If so, I can send you a copy. Best–

  2. Hello, I’m exceedingly grateful for this blog, as I’m educating myself on all the topics you discuss. I’m currently in the middle of Mieville’s (also a great favorite) Last Days and was wondering if you were aware of any books in English on La main a plume? Not that it’s not worth learning French just to peruse the anthology, but for the sake of, you know, expediency. Thanks very much; my wallet is already going to take a hit thanks to this blog, so may as well bury myself entirely.

    Bethany
